BC Interior North Triathlon Events
BC Interior North gathers three destination triathlons across the province's most remote landscapes. Wasa Lake in the East Kootenays is a BC Championship qualifier — warm lake, mountain backdrop, and a well-organized local race that draws athletes from Alberta. Tyhee Lake near Smithers in the Bulkley Valley is a different kind of remote: boreal forest, smaller field, longer drive. Dawson Creek at Mile Zero of the Alaska Highway is the northernmost triathlon in the region and possibly the one with the best post-race story. They're 700km apart, but each one is worth the fuel.
