Southern Oregon Triathlon Events

Southern Oregon's two triathlons are remote destination events — the Dirty Pelican Bike Paddle Run on Upper Klamath Lake, a non-standard format that swaps the swim for a paddle, and the Rogue River Triathlon in the Agness canyon, one of the more isolated race settings in the PNW. Athletes based in Medford and Ashland regularly target Ironman 70.3 Northern California in Redding, which is closer than Portland and draws a larger field. Thin on local races, strong on scenery.
