Willamette Valley Triathlon Events

The Willamette Valley runs 150 miles south from Portland through Salem, Corvallis, and Eugene — Oregon's densest triathlon corridor. The Beaver Freezer opens the season at OSU each March; Ironman 70.3 Oregon anchors the summer at Salem's Wente Amphitheater; the TrackTown Triathlon runs year-round at the University of Oregon; and Best in the West in Sweet Home draws a mid-valley field in August. Newport Harbor Tri adds a coastal leg to the menu. Portland events — PDX Tri, XTERRA, Hagg Lake, Gator Grinder — extend the calendar at the north end.
