Southern Idaho stretches across the Snake River Plain from the Magic Valley through Idaho Falls and Rexburg to Bear Lake — a broad triathlon corridor with more going on than its size suggests. The Spudman in Burley is the centerpiece: a current-aided Snake River swim that draws a national lottery field each summer. Bear Lake Brawl near the Utah border adds one of the region's most remote and scenic swim venues. Rexburg Rush, Rigby Lake Rumble, Great Snake River, and Bengal in Pocatello fill the mid-valley calendar. Flat, hot, and windy in the best possible way.
